Felix the Fox

An adorable lovey for a gorgeous baby boy on the way.

This adorable Fox lovey was a commission for an expecting mum. I can’t wait to see the gorgeous little baby boy with this cute crocheted creation.

If you’d like me to crochet an adorable lovey just like this, you can get in touch with me here. But for all the crocheters who would like to make this Fox lovey for yourselves, keep reading.

First, a quick intro to Felix.

Meet, Felix the Fox

Felix is only a pup and can't wait to meet his new baby brother. He loves cuddles, but always wiggles his wee nose when anyone tries to kiss him. I think it's because he is a little bit shy.

Felix loves his fruit, and strawberries are his favourite! He could just sit and eat them all day long. In between his cuddling of course.

Tips and tricks:

I found this pattern extremely simple to follow. It is a very well written pattern!

One thing I decided to do differently was miss out the crocheted flowers on the top of the foxes head. Since this was a commission and for a wee boy, I decided with the mum that we’d leave the flowers off. To be honest, I have no regrets about this decision, because I think Felix turned out looking absolutely adorable.

Final thoughts

This is a fantastic crochet pattern, plus it’s fun and quick to make. By quick to make, it took me about a week (an hour or so of crocheting per day), but I am not a quick crocheter by any means. I would highly recommend it if you’re looking for a wee baby gift to make!

Of course if you do decide to get the pattern, I’d love to see your versions. You can tag me on Instagram here. Also, feel free to reach out if you have any questions as you go through the pattern. Always happy to help however I can.

Bye for now, and happy crocheting,

Cilla x
