Paul the puppy

Another cute and cuddly creation, and the biggest amigurumi I’ve made to-date.

Paul was such a great make. The pattern challenged me in ways that I love, and the result was adorable and actually cuddly! We all know that amigurumi are cute, but they are certainly not all cuddly too. But Paul was, which I found brilliant.

Introducing, Paul the puppy

Paul is kind, caring, and just adorable. He's the youngest of three siblings, Lily the bunny and Oreo the pug puppy, and he loves them both so much.

Paul dreams of becoming an architect someday. He loves looking at homes, and is also a little bit addicted to playing Sims on Xbox right now. He especially likes designing the houses - that's where his idea of becoming an architect has come from. But who knows, maybe he'll end up designing Xbox games one day instead. That could definitely be on the cards.

Paul's sisters are always looking out for their little brother, since he's known for getting up to a little bit of mischief now and then. He does listen to his sisters though, because he knows they have his best interests at heart.

Details for crocheters

Here is everything you need to know about how to make this cutie.

Tips and tricks:

This pattern pretty well has you covered when it comes to making Paul the puppy. The only part I did find difficult was the section between the feet and the legs. The best advice I would give you is to follow the pattern to the tee. However, use some embroidery to touch up some sections on the feet to ensure they are properly closed so no stuffing can escape if you’re feeling unsure. I had to do this, because I was concerned of some rather large gaps in this section. I did manage to do it rather discreetly though, so the stitches can’t be seen.
