Four Farm Animal Crochet Patterns

Take a look at these four super quick and easy farm animal crochet patterns.

Just before Easter, I released four free farm animal crochet patterns as part of my latest Eggy Amigurumi Easter collection. This time I went with a farm theme, and I couldn’t be more delighted with how they all turned out.

All the farm animal crochet patterns listed here are available for free on my blog. Of course, if you’d prefer the PDF patterns, these are also available in my online stores.

So here they are, the Eggy Farm Friends in all their glory!

I hope you enjoy browsing, and I’d absolutely love to know which Eggy Farm Friend is your favourite! Let me know in the comments below.

Free Farm Animal Crochet Patterns

Peter the Piglet is an easy crochet pattern that works up super quickly. His feet, ears and tail are all crocheted to the body resulting in minimal sewing - my favourite! While I used Sirdar Happy Chenille DK yarn, you can also swap for a cotton or acylic yarn without a hitch.

Hetty the Hen is another quick and easy free farm animal crochet pattern. Like Peter the Pig, there is also minimal sewing involved with Hetty’s feet and beak is crocheted to the body as you make it. Hetty’s hen comb and tail are sewn to the body after crocheting, but the result is too cute to resist.

Stevie the Sheep is another adorable egg-shaped free farm amigurumi pattern. Stevie’s crochet pattern is an intermediate pattern however due to the tricky stitch combination used to crochet the fluffy sheep wool. While it is rated as an intermediate pattern however, the instructions given are step-by-step so a less experienced crocheter could also tackle this one. But you will need to pay attention to your stitch counts. Stevie has to also be one of my favourites - I hope you like him too!

This brightly coloured cow amigurumi is an intermediate farm animal crochet pattern who I’ve called Cassie. Cassie the Cow’s crochet pattern also minimal sewing as her feet and ears are crocheted to the body as you go. Also, the only reason this pattern is an intermediate level is due to the colour changes required to make her patches, and also the bobble stitches that make her horns. Overall, as long as you have some previous experience of crochet, this one will be quick to make like Peter and Hetty.

That’s it for all the Eggy Farm Friends at this stage, but I may add to the collection in future! I’m thinking a horse and potentially a goat too. What Eggy Farm Friend free crochet pattern would you like to see next? Let me know in the comments below - I’d love to hear from you!

In the meantime, don’t forget if you do decide to make any of the free farm crochet patterns above, I’d absolutely love to see your creations. To share them with me and the crochet community, simply post a photo on social media and tag me @cillacrochets. I can’t wait to see what colours you choose!

Until next time, happy crocheting,

Cilla xx
